Behavioral Health Technician

Responsibilities

Providing intense individualized mental health interventions and support services in community-based settings to children/adolescents with psychiatric diagnoses and their families
Implementing specific treatment goals as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team
Enabling children/adolescents to maintain and function to the best of their ability in the least restrictive setting

Behavioral Health CertificationRegistered Behavioral Technician2 years behavioral health experienceElectronic Health Record (EHR)Microsoft OfficeBilingual (Spanish)Communication skillsInterpersonal skillsOrganizational skills

Required

High School Diploma or Equivalent and ability to complete 40+ hours of training
Minimum of 2 years of experience of provision of behavioral health services
Behavioral Health Certification or Behavior Analysis Certification from accredited organization
Certification as a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT)
Proficient in basic computer skills and Microsoft Office; experience using an electronic health record (EHR) is a plus
Must be extremely organized
Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Must be professional, flexible, and can work independently
Position requires reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current automobile insurance coverage

Preferred

Bi-Lingual (Spanish Speaking) is a plus but not required
