Recovery Support Technician - Entry Level - Indianapolis
Volunteers of America Ohio and Indiana Turning Point Recovery Center is a residential addiction treatment program for men involved in the criminal justice system. The Recovery Support Technician is an active part of the treatment team, monitoring client behaviors and providing support and structure to aid in their recovery journey.

Responsibilities
Perform 1:1 crisis intervention to the client and submit supporting documentation
Facilitate individual and group skills training for clients
Document and maintain DCS and legally mandated reporting standards of child abuse and neglect
Transport clients in company-approved vehicles as needed
Maintain DCS and legally mandated reporting criteria for child abuse and neglect
Monitor for and control contraband through general surveillance and room searches
Conduct periodic tours of the facility and its grounds to maintain client safety and security
Complete and maintain client intake information and procedures
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent education
Valid Indiana driver's license required
Applicants must pass a state, county, and Department of Child Services background check
First Aid & CPR certification is required and must be maintained. VOAOHIN will provide certification if not already obtained
