Responsibilities

Diagnose issues in vehicle engines and mechanical/electrical components accurately
Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to perform necessary repairs, maintenance, and upgrades
Conduct routine tasks such as fluid replacement and part lubrication to ensure optimal vehicle performance
Schedule future maintenance sessions and advise customers on proper vehicle use
Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts, addressing issues like leaks
Provide accurate estimates for repair or maintenance jobs, including cost, time, and effort
Maintain detailed logs of work performed and issues encountered
Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained in good condition

Required

Proven experience as an auto mechanic
Extensive knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle components

Ability to operate various tools and heavy equipment safely
Commitment to following safety precautions to protect against accidents and hazardous materials
Excellent physical condition

Preferred

High School Diploma or GED preferred
Valid certifications (e.g., ASE) are a plus
