Electronics Technician Maintenance II

Responsibilities

Electronic cleaning operations: Perform typical cleaning methods involved in industrial trade operations associated with heavy carbon composites, greases, and fuels. Operate cleaning machinery associated with these operations
Electronic component disassembly and rebuild: Perform assembly, cleaning, re-assembly, and test operations in accordance with approved Government procedures
Component repair operations: Perform typical Depot repairs on various components in accordance with approved Government procedures, shop orders, drawings, and specifications
Troubleshooting and fault isolation: Troubleshoot components to identify source of failure using procedures, schematics, and drawings and consult with other trained personnel as needed to resolve failures
Testing, aligning, and troubleshooting of complex analog and digital electronic systems, assemblies, subassemblies, circuit cards, and power supplies using universal automatic and manual test stations, hardware specific automatic and manual test stations, and bench top test equipment
Test set preventative maintenance: Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on test sets and shop equipment. Perform lock-out tag-out procedures in accordance with all required directives and regulations
Test set corrective maintenance: Perform unscheduled corrective maintenance on test sets and shop equipment
Other duties as assigned

Required

Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance. (Eligible to pass Federal security clearance process.)
Must have circuit board component troubleshooting and repair experience to the component level
A minimum of two (2) years of experience providing industrial operations support
Must be a U.S. Citizen. U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance

Preferred

A current, active Secret Security Clearance is preferred
