Northern Mortgage is dedicated to creating custom-made products and is seeking an Avionics Electrical Technician to join their team. The role involves building, maintaining, and repairing aircraft electronic systems, contributing to safety and efficiency enhancements.

Responsibilities

Installing, configuring, and testing the installed systems

Assisting in building the aircraft to meet the STC requirements

Conducting operational checks

Prebuilding electrical harnesses

Performing maintenance and troubleshooting on avionics systems

Qualification

Required

High School Diploma or equivalent required

Knowledge of electrical theory and soldering is required

Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and diagrams

Possess electrical maintenance and troubleshooting skills, alongside knowledge of electricity and electrical equipment

Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

Preferred

Two (2) years related work experience; or two (2) years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics preferred

FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license is preferred but not required

Associate's degree or certification in Electrical Engineering or related field is a plus

Proven experience working as an Avionic Technician, preferably in an aircraft maintenance or repair facility

Strong knowledge of avionic systems, must be familiar with GPS, and VHF navigation systems, HF, VHF, UHF, and sat phone communication systems
