They are currently seeking a Full-time Mental Health Technician to join their team at the Roxbury Correctional Institution in Hagerstown, Maryland, where the technician will work alongside a multi-disciplinary team to provide behavioral health monitoring and support to patients in a correctional setting.

Responsibilities

Provide basic behavioral/mental health monitoring to patients in a correctional setting

Create and provide recreational groups designed to address symptoms

Provide structured cognitive and social stimulation to promote individual recovery and well-being

Conduct assessments of recreational and adaptive living needs

Participate in treatment team meetings to set patient plans and goals

Qualification

DegreeCPR / BLS certificationMental Health Technician experienceBackground investigation clearance

Required

Bachelor's degree in psychology, Sociology, Social Work, or Counseling

Must have a current driver's license

Must have a current CPR / BLS card

Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable

Preferred

Previous experience as a MHT preferred
