Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, maintain, upgrade, repair and perform both predictive and preventive maintenance on Production process equipment, instrumentation and electrical systems to ensure a quality product

Maintain area housekeeping to ensure a safe workplace

Interact with other Technicians to share maintenance knowledge on similar equipment or related Maintenance problems

Qualification

Required

Associate degree in Electronics Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering Technology or an equivalent Technical College Curriculum or equivalent training as obtained via the Military

Prior Applicable Industrial Maintenance experience (minimum 2 years)

Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Must have good troubleshooting, organizational and planning skills

Must be willing to work: 1) rotating 4 days on – 4 days off shift or 2) M-F day shift

Willing to work overtime and emergency call-in work as needed

Preferred

good troubleshooting and problems solving skills with the ability to work and communicate efficiently and safely

knowledge of basic operation of DC & AC circuits

knowledge of basic operation of 3-phase AC power

knowledge of DC/AC motor theory

knowledge of DC/AC drive theory

knowledge of function and operation of fuses and circuit breakers

knowledge of electrical relay logic circuits

knowledge of operation of PLC's

knowledge of temperature, pressure and flow control loops

ability to read & interpret electrical drawings and instrument loop sheets

ability to read, interpret and troubleshoot PLC programs

ability to use basic hand tools (including Volt-Ohm meters)

ability to maintain area housekeeping to ensure a safe workplace

ability to interact with other Technicians to share maintenance knowledge on similar equipment or related Maintenance problems
