AV Departmental TEF Technician - Computing Services
Carnegie Mellon University is seeking a Departmental TEF Technician within its Computing Services department. This role involves the operation and maintenance of audio/visual equipment used for events and classroom instruction, along with responsibilities in scheduling and inventory management.

Responsibilities
May film video productions
May train or instruct students, staff or faculty on operation of A/V equipment. Trouble shoots user issues
Responsible for delivery, set-up (as directed), operation and retrieval of A/V equipment that is used in events and classroom instruction
Schedules and keeps records regarding inventory of equipment. Locates and retrieves missing equipment and/or notified manager of missing equipment
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
GED or High School Degree
0-1 Years of Audio Visual Equipment Operation Experience
0-1 Years of Multi-Media Production Experience
A combination of education and relevant experience from which comparable knowledge is demonstrated may be considered
