Responsibilities

Triage & Assess patients/obtain vitals
Providing nursing care/monitoring to hospitalized patients
Anesthesia, Surgery prep, Patient recovery
Running in-house lab testing & use of Cubex
Filling prescriptions/Dispensing oral and iv medications
Drug administration
Radiographs
Provide client education!
ECG monitoring
Advanced CPR
Central lines
Placing urinary catheters
Placing nasogastric tubes
Placing nasal cannulas
Maintaining indwelling tubes (chest tube, feeding tube)
Blood transfusions

Required

Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT)
Strong experience with in-patient care, in-house laboratory operation, venipuncture, and radiology
Fluent English skills (speaking & reading)
Critical thinking
Providing nursing care/monitoring to hospitalized patients
Anesthesia, Surgery prep, Patient recovery
Running in-house lab testing & use of Cubex
Filling prescriptions/Dispensing oral and iv medications
Drug administration
Radiographs
Provide client education!
ECG monitoring
Advanced CPR
Diligent worker who takes initiative and contributes to the operation of the entire hospital
