Responsibilities

Develop and deliver engaging instructional content on automotive systems including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, HVAC, and diagnostics

Conduct classroom and hands-on training sessions

Assess student performance through practical evaluations, written tests, and project-based learning

Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and certifications (e.g., ASE, OEM standards)

Maintain training materials and update curriculum to reflect new automotive technologies and service procedures

Qualification

ASE Master Technician certificationAutomotive Technology degreeDiagnostic tools proficiencyTeaching experienceCommunication skillsPresentation skillsInterpersonal skillsTeam leadership experience

Required

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Automotive Technology or related field (or equivalent industry experience)

ASE Master Technician certification or manufacturer-specific certifications required

Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in automotive service or repair

Prior teaching or training experience is highly desirable

Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

Proficiency with diagnostic tools, service software, and technical manuals

Must have strong people, interpersonal skills, and presentation capabilities

Must have superior verbal/written skills with the ability to communicate effectively to employees, clients, customers, team members, and all levels of management

Excellent team leadership experience

Must be willing to travel up to 30%

Must be authorized to work in the U.S

Must be able to successfully pass a background check
