Maintenance Technician
Koozie Group is a company that produces promotional products and swag for various customers. They are seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform scheduled and non-scheduled repairs of equipment, systems, and the facility, while ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.

Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and repair physical plant and equipment problems
Perform scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment and the physical plant
Design and build new equipment or modify existing equipment, which includes providing quotes, drawing plans, schematics, and other assorted documentation
Supply necessary data for department information system, including information on labor, inventory usage, and repair procedures
Operate power equipment as needed to perform maintenance duties
Perform or assist in machine set-up
Store and maintain department tools, supplies, equipment, parts inventory, and manuals in a clean, safe, well-organized manner
Assist with the installation of new equipment and the development of appropriate set-up and repair procedures
Provide technical information for the purchase of materials/parts for facility and equipment maintenance
Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair
Employee must have knowledge and an understanding of the NFPA 70e Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace. These competencies will be certified through an audit prior to authorizing the employee to install, maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems
Comply with Koozie Group's EHS policy
Working knowledge of ISO 9000 and 14001 procedures
Ability to stand for long periods of time and freely move about the plant as well as bend, twist, grasp and perform repetitive motion tasks properly to work within and around machines. Ability to lift up to 45 lbs occasionally to frequently
Must be willing and able to take call and respond to call-in needs as scheduled. Position rotates on shifts, works overtime, and weekends as necessary
Perform duties in a safe manner using approved safety equipment and observing safe procedures at all times
Maintain an effective working relationship with fellow associates
Support teamwork through active participation
Performs reasonably similar or related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
A minimum of a two-year technical degree or equivalent experience in manufacturing maintenance setting
One year bindery or print equipment experience
Must be able to train on 1st shift for the first few months
Employee must have knowledge and an understanding of the NFPA 70e Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace
