The Orthotic & Prosthetic Technician will fabricate and repair orthotic devices under the supervision of a certified orthotist, ensuring proper fit and function for patients.

Responsibilities
Fabricates orthotic devices by bending, forming, and shaping materials to prescribed specifications
Interprets specifications to determine the type of device to be fabricated and the materials and tools that will be required
Repairs, rebuilds, and modifies orthotic appliances
Interacts with patients under the supervision of a certified orthotist to make adjustments to promote proper fit, function, and comfort of devices
Maintains fabrication supplies inventory as delegated by management
Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of workspaces and common areas
Participates in preventative maintenance of equipment as assigned
Adheres to policies and procedures regarding human resources, physical environment, business and financial practices, reimbursement requirements, and organizational management
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma/GED
Preferred
Associate's Degree Orthotic or Prosthetic Technician course completed at an accredited school
