Responsibilities

Ensure safe and reliable operation of all vessel electrical and electronic systems
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair power distribution and control systems
Oversee operation and upkeep of navigation, communication, and automation systems
Support vessel safety by maintaining emergency electrical systems and alarms
Comply with classification society, flag state, and international maritime regulations
Provide technical support to the engineering and deck departments

Required

High School Diploma or equivalent [G.E.D.] or higher preferred
Valid Driver's License
Valid TWIC
Minimum of 2 years of sea time onboard a vessel or an offshore asset
Basic knowledge of electrical and electronic systems
Ability to work under supervision and as part of a team
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred

Valid USCG MMC
STCW: Electro-Technical Officer (III/6)
STCW: Basic Safety Training (VI/1)
STCW: Vessel Personnel w/ Designated Security Duties & Security Awareness (VI/6)
HUET Training (One of the following): Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training with CA-EBS
HUET Training (One of the following): Further Offshore Emergency Training with CA-EBS
Global Wind Organization Training – Examples below: Working at Heights
