Responsibilities
Diagnosing failures and recommending effective repair solutions
Performing repairs precisely and efficiently
Interacting with dealership personnel, manufacturer representatives, and customers
Mentoring less-experienced technicians
Staying informed about and complying with federal, state, and local regulations
Prioritizing safety in all shop and vehicle activities
Reporting any safety issues immediately
Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
Reporting changes in the appearance or condition of a vehicle to department management
Qualification
Required
A high school diploma or equivalent
A vocational certificate or a diesel or truck repair degree
Four to six years of related experience or training or an equivalent combination of experience and education
A valid driver's license
A clean driving record
CDL license is recommended
Preferred
MX Engine certification
Cummins Heavy Duty certification
Cummins Mid-Range certification
Allison Transmission certification
Eaton Transmission certification
