Responsibilities
Provide production manufacture, product repair, field service, and material handling support
Support the build and repair of electronics equipment
Complete complex technical functions in support of engineers including set up, operation, maintenance, modification, circuit testing, calibration, and troubleshooting of electronic/electromechanical components and systems, experimental design circuitry, and prototype models
Perform repair and maintenance tasks on equipment that is complex, with a variety of complicated components
Utilize government documentation such as engineering drawings, technical manuals, and repair standards to conduct maintenance tasks
Install, overhaul, and test equipment in accordance with customer requirements
Qualification
Required
Possess one of the following active certifications (copy of certificate required before hire): Miniature/Microminiature (2M) certification in accordance with NAVSEA TE000-AA-MAN-010/2M
IPC J-STD-001G Soldering Electrical and Electronic Assemblies certification
Navy Electronic Technician (ET) “A” school (Course Identification Number A-100-0149) or similar military or civilian equivalent training
Active/unexpired U.S. Passport (required for periodic OCONUS/overseas travel)
At least three (3) to five (5) years of relevant professional experience building and/or repairing electronics components and systems
Proficiency with common productivity software and collaborative tools including Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams
Strong communication skills
US Citizenship Required: Due to the requirements of the federal contract that this position supports, U.S. citizenship is required
Existing Secret Security Clearance Required: This position requires an existing DoD Secret security clearance
