Responsibilities

Preparing, adjusting, and calibrating standard test apparatus or devices
Analyzing and recording testing results
Utilizing test equipment to conduct functional, operational, and environmental testing
Performing detailed RF test measurements such as gain transfer, frequency response, noise figure, modulation, and return loss using manual and automated tests
Understanding the operation of various types of test equipment such as Power Meters, Frequency Counters, and Spectrum/Network Analyzers
Maintaining and establishing effective working relationships with other employees, contractors, and customers

Required

1-2 years of experience in repairing and installing microwave radio systems
Hands-on experience with project-specific OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers)
A strong technical electronics background, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to conduct failure analysis are a must
Knowledge of concepts, characteristics, capabilities, and theoretical design of microwave radio equipment
Certified on Wavence or ALU 9500MPR Microwave Radios or be able to pass certification testing within 90 days of employment, a must
Understanding of two-way radio / cellular infrastructure communications products, services, and systems
Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings and blueprints, a must
Ability to work flexible shifts and to adapt to changing work schedules

Preferred

Experience with at least one of the following: public safety communications systems, cellular infrastructure, military communications, civil infrastructure construction, desired
