Receiving Quality Technician

Responsibilities

Document all inspection results consistent with company procedures and customer requirements and issue non-conformances and/or quality notifications for discrepant conditions as required
Maintain accurate records of incoming inspections in accordance with quality control procedures
Collaborate with engineering, purchasing, and quality departments to address and resolve quality issues with incoming goods
Notify relevant teams about non-conforming materials and incoming product
Follow the tag system
Fill out, stamp, and sign Quality Inspections
Log and file quality records
Inspect and verify the quality and quantity of received materials, parts, or products against purchase orders and specifications
Conduct dimensional and visual inspections using tools like calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring equipment
Support all manufacturing concerns in a timely manner

Required

Preferred

Familiarity with office and warehouse environments
Basic knowledge of Aerospace specifications
Material handling experience, using a Forklift and Overhead Crane
Must possess the ability to use and operate the following equipment and tools: Coil Cart, Micrometer, Calipers, Scale, Bander, Bander Cutters, Side Loader
1–2 year quality-related experience and/or training is preferred
