As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will deliver one-on-one services to clients, following treatment plans and helping to improve their functioning while educating and supporting their families.

Responsibilities

Provide one-to-one services to children and adolescents between the ages of 2-24, who are confronted with serious, identified, emotional and/or behavioral disturbances

Aid in improving independent, age-appropriate functioning to levels which require less or no service intervention

Travel to the clients' home/school/service location daily

Follow the prescribed treatment plan and provide behavioral and treatment interventions and consequences to the client

Set boundaries with clients and their families to prevent dependency upon your services

Provide support to parents and adult professionals

Educate and train parents/young adults to utilize these skills

Provide positive reinforcement and provide culturally aware and competent service provision

Qualification

Required

Certified as BCaBA, RBT, or BCAT

2 years' prior Behavior Health Certification or Behavior Analysis Certification from an organization that is accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies or the American National Standards Institute

High School diploma or equivalent and completed the 40hr RBT Training (RBT Task List) Certification (or ability to complete this within the first 10 days of hire- you will be paid for this training time)

Minimum of 2 years-experience providing Behavioral Health services
