Maintenance Technician (Welder)

Responsibilities

Under limited supervision and with minimal technical guidance, keep plant equipment in good mechanical repair
Respond in a timely manner to work orders and management requests
Be able to troubleshoot and repair a variety of equipment including hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Welding experience with stick all position and MIG for some fabrication and repairs
Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions with accuracy
Perform preventative maintenance on multiple types of equipment
Perform routine troubleshooting activities
Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture
Ensure work area is clean and free of any hazards
Be a team player and have a good work ethic
Maintain a calm and professional attitude in the workplace
Participate in and drive lean initiatives

Required

Highschool or GED
3-5 years welding experience in a manufacturing/ heavy industrial setting
Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered for candidates that have the ability to perform the objectives above
