Senior Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities
Supervising and planning maintenance work through out building
Checking Maintainx for quality of PM’s, work orders and work requests
Ensuring staff comply with established safety regulations and all ALS health and safety policies and procedures
Training new staff on preventative maintenance, safety and work procedures
Keep comprehensive parts inventory and order replacement parts as needed
Plan, schedule and assist any contracted work
Supervision and support for maintenance staff
Ensure all HSE requirements are met, Compliance Calendar, Permits, JSHA/RA, LOTO inspections
Daily supervisor logs along with daily weekly and monthly leadership standard logs
Attend all planned HSE, safety and maintenance meetings
Support to other sites as needed
On call for emergency scenarios
Assist Facility Managers and supervisors with maintenance work as required
Property maintenance including indoor and outdoor of building
Trained on all heavy equipment
Purchase and transport of building materials and maintenance supplies
Complete unsupervised building repairs such as painting, carpentry, basic plumbing, etc
Complete unsupervised mechanical work such as change belts, bearings, shafts and basic equipment repairs etc
Complete unsupervised electrical repairs such as diagnosing components and circuits with multi-meter changing out contactors, solenoids, relays, motors etc
Acts as back-up manager in the maintenance manager’s absence
Verify staff are using correct methods in accordance with the established procedures and schedules while ensuring quality of work
Other duties as assigned
