Citation Aircraft Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

The Aircraft Maintenance Technician will perform a variety of mechanical tasks on aircraft, including troubleshooting, inspections, and maintenance, while working on sophisticated civilian aircraft.

Airlines/Aviation

Responsibilities

Performing general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems
Removal and installation of panels and components
Troubleshooting and problem solving aircraft system/component issues
De-fueling aircraft
Engine removal/installations
Operating ground support equipment
Inspection and evaluation of the aircraft and components
Aircraft movement and assistance in performance runs/ taxiing
Maintenance and repair of shop facility, equipment and tooling
Basic computer skills to be able to navigate electronic training, manuals, and maintenance data bases
Any other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor or management

Required

A High school diploma or equivalent
A valid driver's license approved for airline travel and/or a valid passport is ideal, but not mandatory
Airframe or Powerplant license is required
0-2 years of experience in aviation maintenance, avionics, or similar for AMT I
2-4 years of experience working in aviation maintenance for AMT II
Airframe license is required for AMT III
4-6+ years' experience in aviation maintenance for AMT III
Airframe and Powerplant license is required for AMT IV
6+ years' experience in aviation maintenance for AMT IV
Must have extensive experience on corporate aircraft platforms for AMT IV
We're looking for team players who are self-motivated and able to perform in a fast paced environment
Attend work every day as scheduled to include overtime and weekend assignments
Notify supervisor in advance of shift starting if unable to work
Must have reliable transportation to get to work each and every day
Perform all work in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration guidelines
Follow all company and safety rules during performance of duties
Maintain customer oriented work habits

Preferred

Airframe license is preferred for AMT I
Experience working on corporate aircraft is preferred but not essential for AMT II
Experience working on corporate aircraft is highly preferred but not essential for AMT III
Powerplant license is highly preferred for AMT III
