Cardiovascular Special Procedures / Cath Lab Radiology Technician
Texas Health Resources is a leading healthcare provider with a commitment to community health. They are seeking a Cardiovascular Special Procedures Technician to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, responsible for assessing and recognizing patients' conditions in the cardiac cath lab.

Assessing and recognizing the patient’s emotional, physical, developmental, cognitive and psychosocial conditions
Qualification
Required
Associate Degree in Applied Science required
Completion of an accredited program in cardiovascular technology (Must obtain RCIS within six (6) months) required
High school diploma or equivalent with two (2) years' work experience in invasive cardiology required
ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire required
RCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (Obtain within 6 months if graduate from Cardiovascular Accredited Program) upon hire required
RCES - Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (For Electrophysiology Labs (EP) only) upon hire required
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support (prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly) required
ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support (prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly) required
Preferred
One (1) year vascular or cardiac angiography experience preferred
Two (2) years' experience with high school diploma required
Two (2) years Cath Lab experience strongly preferred
GMRT-General Medical Radiologic Technologist (if ARRT only) upon hire preferred
LMRT - Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist (if RCIS only) upon hire preferred
