IVI RMA Global is a leading network of fertility practices in the United States, seeking a Sonographer/Ultrasound Technician to join their Lafayette practice. The role involves providing detailed ultrasound imaging of the female reproductive system to assist in identifying infertility causes and guiding treatments.

Responsibilities

Collaborates with physicians, other medical providers, and patients by providing expert care and service for fertility treatments

Establishes personal rapport with patients

Provides explanations of procedures

Performs detailed sonographic examinations of female reproductive systems and identifies abnormalities

Responsible for generating and documenting ultrasound reports for physician interpretation

Procedure set-up, following all sterile precautions

Performs and provides explanations of procedures, including Sonohysterograms, FemVue, and Ultrasound guidance for embryo transfers

Tracks fetal growth and development up to 9 weeks gestational age

Maintains ultrasound equipment

Orders ultrasound supplies and keeps rooms stocked

Travel to other Company locations as needed

Rotating holiday and weekend shift coverage
