VCA Veterinary Specialists of CT is looking to expand its specialty team by seeking a Lead Veterinary Anesthesia Technician. This role involves advanced anesthesia procedural monitoring and providing compassionate care for all patients while collaborating with team members across hospital services.

Responsibilities

Advanced Anesthesia procedural monitoring
Full Technician Skill Utilization
Collect patient history & physical exams
Refill medications refills and communicate with clients
Medical calculations
Venipuncture / IVC placement
Hands Free Radiology (Associate safety a top priority)
Work collaboratively with team members of all hospital services
Provide compassionate care for all patients

Qualification

Required

Credentialed Veterinary Technicians
At least 2 years of anesthesia experience in a specialty hospital
Positive attitude
Ability to assist with case flow
Support the specialty team with challenging surgical cases
Provide training and support as appropriate
