Responsibilities
Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems to identify issues
Perform routine maintenance on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical
CNC machinery/ assembly equipment mechanical and electrical troubleshooting (mills, lathes, presses, custom assembly equipment related to business)
Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools and power tools
Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life
Tasks related to machine installation (air, electrical, hydraulic)
This could include use of fork trucks and/or high lifts
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies
Collaborate with other departments and contractors as needed
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
Janitorial duties as needed
Chemical maintenance on Cleanline
Plumbing repairs, carpentry and general maintenance and upkeep of the facility
Adheres to all safety rules and report questionable conditions to manager
Apply and recommend Lean practices
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems
Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role
Knowledge in the use and maintenance of machines and safety practices
Interpersonal skills to handle different internal personnel and to meet requirements and customer satisfaction
Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills function to determine and solve technical problems arising on a daily basis
Ability to meet deadlines for completion of tasks in a timely manner
Preferred
Technical certification or vocational training
