Responsibilities
Builds rapport with clients (children and adolescents), providing daily support, structure, activities, group, and safety
Provide skills training to clients to help them learn to manage their mental health symptoms in clients' home
Models, coaches, and counsels clients regarding appropriate hygiene, and social and interpersonal interactions
Have a valid Oregon driver's license that meets agency driving requirements and the ability to meet client and families in the community
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a behavioral sciences field
A combination of at least three years relevant work, education, training or experience
Demonstrate the competency necessary to communicate effectively
Understand mental health assessment, treatment and service terminology and apply these concepts
Provide psychosocial skills development
Implement interventions as assigned on an individual plan of care
Provide behavior management and case management duties
Have a valid Oregon driver's license that meets agency driving requirements
