Facilities Maintenance Technician I

Responsibilities
Perform routine preventative maintenance on building systems like plumbing, and restrooms, as well as make minor repairs to carpentry, painting, and fixtures
Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety standards
Respond to and complete work orders for repairs and maintenance tasks
Safely operate tools and equipment required for facility upkeep
Help manage and track maintenance supplies and inventory
Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
Follow reservation schedule to deliver and pickup lift equipment to team members on time
Understand and follow Applied Medical’s Quality Systems (QS) per training
Qualification
Required
Ability to use basic carpentry, plumbing, and painting, hand and electric powered tools
Ability to diagnose basic issues and find solutions
Ability to manage tasks and maintain records of maintenance performed
Ability to work within a team
Comfortable working in various environments and weather conditions, including at heights
Must have a current and valid California driver's license
Ability to read, write, and speak English
