Responsibilities
Performing general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems
Removal and installation of panels and components
Troubleshooting and problem solving aircraft system/component issues
De-fueling aircraft
Engine removal/installations
Operating ground support equipment
Inspection and evaluation of the aircraft and components
Aircraft movement and assistance in performance runs/ taxiing
Maintenance and repair of shop facility, equipment and tooling
Basic computer skills to be able to navigate electronic training, manuals, and maintenance data bases
Any other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor or management
Qualification
Required
A High school diploma or equivalent
A valid driver's license approved for airline travel and/or a valid passport is ideal, but not mandatory
Airframe or Powerplant license is required
0-2 years of experience in aviation maintenance, avionics, or similar
Airframe or Powerplant license is required
2-4 years of experience working in aviation maintenance
Airframe license is required; in addition, Powerplant license is highly preferred
4-6+ years' experience in aviation maintenance
Airframe and Powerplant license is required
6+ years' experience in aviation maintenance
Must have reliable transportation to get to work each and every day
Perform all work in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration guidelines
Follow all company and safety rules during performance of duties
Maintain customer oriented work habits
Preferred
Airframe license is preferred
Experience working on corporate aircraft is preferred but not essential
Powerplant license is highly preferred
Experience working on corporate aircraft is highly preferred but not essential
