As a Junior Network Technician, you will provide entry-level technical support for the installation, testing, and maintenance of network infrastructure, assisting senior technicians in various tasks to ensure secure and high-availability communications for mission-critical operations.

Responsibilities

Assists engineers and technicians with placement of infrastructure components, pre-configuration

Performs tasks involving physical labor at installation sites to aid daily operations

Assists in movement of equipment, racks, boxes, pallets

Assists in cleanup and restoration of facilities to preinstall conditions

Dispose of waste materials

Performs site preparation and implementation activities required to implement approved ISP / OSP solution

Assists in the installation of ISP / OSP cabling, installation of racks/cabinets and equipment

Follows processes and procedures provided by management or lead engineers

Performs cable dressing, labeling, and documentation

Assists in restoration activities to return site to previous condition before project work

Tracks task status to provide updates to management or lead engineers

Work is performed under supervision

Required

High School Diploma

Minimum of 3 years of experience performing as a Network Technician with a High School Diploma

Experience supporting DoD projects, specifically network modernization projects

This position requires an active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret (Tier 3) level clearance

General user capabilities with MS software applications required (primarily Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word and MS Teams or SharePoint)

Proficient with AutoCAD

Must be able to lift / carry 75 lbs
