Responsibilities
Maintaining a safe work environment and ensure that safety procedures are being followed and equipment is in proper working order
Performing all inspections in accordance with API 653 and other related standards
Documenting all inspection activities in accordance with company and customer guidelines
Recommending repairs and perform inspection of completed repair work, as appropriate
Managing accurate and professional communications with both customers and the office
Managing and direct the field crew to efficiently complete each project
Making quick decisions on the job to ensure successful completions of projects
Completing all required training within company guidelines
Qualification
Required
5 years field inspection experience
API-653 Certified
Ability to maintain good working relationships with co-workers, management, vendors and customers
Willingness to travel (approximately 75% travel), with little notice including travel overnight and by air
Excellent communications skills both orally and in writing
Ability to pass background and drug testing, including ongoing random testing
Valid driver's license, have or ability to obtain passport, TWIC card (homeland security)
Comfortable with heights and tight spaces
Knowledge or certified to perform MT, VT, MFL, PT and other NDE methods as required
