Install, configure, and support an organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet systems or a segment of a network system
Monitor network to ensure network availability to all system users and may perform necessary maintenance to support network availability
Monitor and test Web site performance to ensure Web sites operate correctly and without interruption
Assist in network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software
May supervise computer user support specialists and computer network support specialists
Administer network security measures

Qualification
Required
Journeyman Systems Administrator
Configuration, deployment and maintaining Windows servers
Windows 11 desktop systems
Network infrastructure
Compliance with information assurance requirements
Create and maintain virtualized development environments
Support 200 users / 150 computer assets / printers / network connectivity
Install, configure, and support an organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet systems
Monitor network to ensure network availability to all system users
Perform necessary maintenance to support network availability
Monitor and test Web site performance
Assist in network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software
Administer network security measures
Onsite presence at Patuxent River NAS for greater than or equal to 90% of the work week
