Multicraft Technician (Electrician & HVAC)

They are seeking a Multicraft Technician responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting equipment and systems in GMP-regulated environments while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems within regulated (GMP) areas
Troubleshoot systems using electrical and mechanical diagnostic tools and methods
Work with building automation systems (BAS) and programmable logic controllers (PLC) as needed
Accurately document maintenance activities using the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
Ensure all work is performed in compliance with GMP, OSHA, Cal/OSHA, and environmental regulations
Follow all company safety procedures and participate in ongoing safety and technical training
Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergency maintenance needs as necessary

Required

Active California Electrician Certification (General or Residential per DIR guidelines)
Active California HVAC Technician License or C-20 Contractor License
High school diploma or GED required
Completion of a recognized technical program or vocational training in HVAC, Electrical, or Industrial Maintenance
Minimum 2 years of experience in a facility or equipment maintenance role in a regulated industry (pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device preferred)
EPA Universal Certification (Section 608)
Demonstrated proficiency in electrical and HVAC disciplines and mechanical systems
Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures and document activities with accuracy

Preferred

Minimum 2 years of experience in a facility or equipment maintenance role in a regulated industry (pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device preferred)
Prior experience in a GMP-compliant facility is highly preferred
