Research Technician - CHRR
The Ohio State University is a leading institution in education and research, and they are seeking a Research Technician for the Center for Human Resource Research. The Research Technician will conduct in-person interviews, administer web surveys, and collect biomarker samples during home visits.

Responsibilities
Conduct in-person interviews for research studies by administering web surveys in person with respondents using laptops provided by the department
Collect hair and blood spot biomarkers at the end of the home visit and return them to CHRR
Meet respondents at acceptable alternate locations (i.e. library or in an office in the department) at the respondent’s request
Carry a laptop bag containing two laptops and accessories, with or without reasonable accommodation
Collect biomarker samples (hair and blood spots) with appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED is required
Must be able to carry a laptop bag containing two laptops and accessories, with or without reasonable accommodation
Must be willing and able to collect biomarker samples (hair and blood spots) with appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
Research Technicians will be fully trained in blood collection methods and appropriate safety procedures for blood and hair collection
A valid driver's license and reliable transportation to make home visits to conduct interviews at various locations inside the I-270 loop in Columbus, OH
