Oxford Global Resources is a company that owns brands which evoke happiness. They are seeking a Facility and Equipment Maintenance Technician to perform day-to-day activities involving the maintenance of the Oxford Distribution center equipment and machinery.

Responsibilities

Maintain function and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment by performing preventive maintenance program; operating and testing systems and equipment; restoring, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing faulty or inoperative components and parts

Ensure maintenance shop is well organized and stocked with parts frequently needed

Improve function and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment by identifying, recommending, and implementing changes, expansions, and additions

Participate in construction projects (e.g. renovations, additional shelving, shipping crates)

Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal codes and regulations

Required

High school diploma or GED required, with vocational or technical training in Distribution, skilled trade or a related field

Generally, 3+ years' experience with mechanical and electrical systems, HVAC, and hydraulic/pneumatic system, UPS and boilers, conveyors, high speed sortation and various packing equipment in a fast-paced production environment

Ability to effectively accomplish diverse skilled work in the repair and maintenance of equipment and facilities

Ability to interpret, illustrate, and apply regulation codes and rules

Ability to carry out operations safely and efficiently; utilize diverse assigned equipment and tools

Lifting and/or moving required: Required

Lift and/or move up to (lbs): 50

Bending/stooping/kneeling required: Required

Routine standing (approximate hrs per day): 8

Maneuvering the following types of equipment or machinery: Forklifts, Conveyor, Etc
