Registered Behavior Technician RBT
PlayThinks is dedicated to empowering individuals with developmental disabilities and autism spectrum disorders. They are looking for a compassionate Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) to provide direct behavioral therapy, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and support clients in various settings.

Responsibilities
Acquire a deep understanding of our vibrant clinic and the unique needs of our clients
Work closely with our talented Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and multidisciplinary team to implement individualized behavior intervention plans
Provide direct one-on-one behavioral therapy sessions in diverse settings—whether it’s in our clinic, at home, or in the community
Be a pillar of support during challenging moments, applying de-escalation techniques and maintaining a safe, nurturing environment
Collect and analyze accurate data to track client progress and inform therapy adjustments
Engage in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and stay current with best practices
Build strong relationships with clients, families, and colleagues to ensure a coordinated approach to care
Maintain meticulous records of client sessions and progress in accordance with our standards and regulatory requirements
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Current RBT certification from the BACB
Strong understanding of behavior principles
Exceptional communication skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or a related field
Previous work with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism
Experience in applied behavior analysis across various settings
Familiarity with the Jewish community and diverse age groups
Comfort with technology for data collection and analysis
Willingness to travel to client locations
Ability to adapt to changing priorities
