Root, Neal & Company is a 4th generation family-owned business specializing in power transmission equipment, pumps, scales, and refrigeration supplies. They are seeking a skilled and motivated Scale Field Service Technician responsible for installing, calibrating, maintaining, and repairing industrial and commercial weighing equipment at customer sites and in their service facility.

Responsibilities

Provide installation, calibration, and field service repair on weighing equipment using testing devices, gauges, and other tools and equipment

Check work orders and related manuals, blueprints, and schematic diagrams to determine tools, equipment, and parts needed for installation or repair assignment

Complete job hazard analysis, ensuring safety protocols and PPE are in place before starting any task

Test electrical components and replace faulty components

Properly maintain all equipment, tools, and facilities for safe operation

Accurate and timely completion of all reporting

Advise management regarding customer satisfaction, product performance, or suggestions for product/service improvements

Follow all Federal, State, and local regulations, and Company Safety policies

Represent Scales, Sales & Service professionally and ethically at all times

Keep up with technology changes to products as introduced
