Responsibilities
Design, install, test, and maintain Ethernet and fiber optic cabling systems
Ensure compliance with industry standards (TIA/EIA, BICSI, etc.)
Troubleshoot and repair complex cabling issues
Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine cabling requirements
Develop and implement cabling plans and documentation
Collaborate with internal teams and clients to understand cabling needs
Stay up-to-date with industry developments and emerging technologies
Qualification
Required
3 to 5+ years of experience in Ethernet and fiber optic cabling
Industry-recognized certifications (e.g., RCDD, CFOT, FOA)
Strong knowledge of cabling standards and best practices
Experience with cable testing and troubleshooting equipment
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Effective communication and collaboration skills
Preferred
Experience with data center and enterprise cabling environments
Familiarity with network protocols and architectures
Project management experience
BICSI or TIA/EIA certification
