Responsibilities

As an Emergency Department Technician/EMT you play a direct role in saving the lives of our patients each day by serving our patients in a safe environment promoting long-term recovery

Emergency Department Technicians are expected to perform with a high degree of clinical and professional aptitude while helping deliver patient care as part of a professional multidisciplinary team of Providers, RNs, Paramedics, Emergency Department Technicians, Respiratory Therapists, Health Unit Coordinators, and Social Workers

Required

High School Diploma or equivalency

National Registry Emergency Medical Technician - Basic (NREMT) or Wisconsin Emergency Medical Technician - Basic (EMT-B)

Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers

Preferred

Prior work experience in an emergency or pre-hospital setting is strongly preferred
