Responsibilities
Prepare and mix samples (compounding and extrusion) for formulation testing and customer trials
Maintain accurate records of testing procedures, results, and sample batches
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in both lab and manufacturing settings to support product development and scale-up
Perform general lab housekeeping and equipment maintenance to ensure safety, quality, and reliability
Operate support equipment for extrusion and compounding lines
Routinely lift and move materials up to 50 pounds, climb stairs and ladders, and work in varying temperature environments
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous experience in a manufacturing, laboratory, or industrial environment
Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to troubleshoot formulation issues
Excellent communication, teamwork, and time management skills
Commitment to continuous learning and staying current on industry trends and technologies
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook)
Must have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship
Preferred
Associate degree or higher in Science, Chemistry, Biology, or related field
Experience in a cosmetic, chemical, or polymer laboratory
Hands-on experience with extrusion, molding, or compounding equipment
Experience preparing or testing samples in a product development environment
