Responsibilities

Operate various electromagnetic locating equipment, to locate and mark underground utilities within prescribed accuracy limits

Read and interpret utility plans/prints to identify the type and size of underground utilities

Provide accurate documentation and/or sketches related to locates completed

Operate company vehicle in a safe manner and maintain professional appearance

Perform manhole entry using assigned equipment and safety devices

Required

1+ years of locating/designating experience is preferred, however, will consider new grads

Must have a valid Oklahoma Driver's License

Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions, including heat and cold

Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods of time

Possess a meticulous attention to detail and strong ability to promote accuracy. There is very minimal room for error in this position

Ability and willingness to follow instructions that may be written, delivered verbally, or conveyed from various methods of communication

Must be flexible, dependable, responsible and disciplined to be a positive representative for Halff and remain punctual on a consistent basis

Overtime and weekend work may be needed to meet project deadlines

Must be able to arrive to work earlier than usual start time, beginning at 6:30am, Monday through Friday

Must have reliable transportation

Will need to have flexibility to travel

Ability to pass a drug and background screen

High school diploma or GED, at minimum is required

Preferred

Vac Truck experience is a plus
