Senior Metrology Technician (Swing and Weekend Shift)

They are seeking a Senior Metrology Technician to operate within the Metrology Lab, providing training, equipment maintenance, and production analysis support.

Responsibilities

Focal for data collection, equipment handling, and analysis training
Support production analysis as needed, with a focus on building analysis skillsets in production
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Development of metrology processes with Project Engineering groups
Develop metrology training
Attention to detail and quality is required
Ability to read and understand blue-prints and / or CAD models
Performs preventive maintenance on machines including daily inspections, weekly maintenance, and annual maintenance
Advanced Assembly Procedures, will include detailed hardware installation, plus in-process and final assembly of a wide variety of tooling, parts, and models
Understanding of mill gauging procedures
Work in a quality capacity to an auditable level of consistency
Must be able to understand and comply with Safety Practices
Complies with 5S, AS9100 and Nadcap Standards and Practices
Identifies and obtains equipment, tools and materials needed to properly perform job function
Knowledge of common hand tools and demonstrated mechanical capabilities
Performs on the job training, AS9100, Nadcap training and other training as required
Performs other duties as assigned
Must work well under pressure, meeting and completing multiple deadlines. The incumbent shall, at all times, demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisors
Being at work on time and maintaining good attendance is a condition of employment and is an essential function of the job

Required

Due to our ITAR and EAR regulations, applicants must be a US Citizen or of Legal Permanent Resident Status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b (a) (3)
High School diploma or GED required, college level or trade school education preferred
5 years or more of operating machinery in a manufacturing environment required
Must have effective verbal and written communication skills
Attention to detail and quality is required
Ability to read and understand blue-prints and / or CAD models
