Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair various types of commercial HVAC systems, including rooftop units, boilers, chillers, cooling towers, and air handling systems

Troubleshooting and service on building HVAC control systems

Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system malfunctions and determine the necessary repairs to ensure optimal system performance

Perform system upgrades and controller cutovers

Perform wiring checkout and assists in systems start-ups

Perform programming sequence checkout

Work independently

Assist in the training of other technicians

Interpret HVAC and electrical schematics, diagrams, and blueprints to ensure proper installation and service

Work in a professional manner in both occupied finish spaces and construction sites

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards during all installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks
