They are seeking an Offshore/Onshore Hydraulic Technician to perform hydraulic crane field services and act as the Company Representative for the crane product line, ensuring the performance and reliability of critical equipment.

Responsibilities
Inspect, troubleshoot and repair cranes – hydraulic and closed loop experience or electric
Ability to completely overhaul winches, valves, diesel engines and hydraulic components
Ability to build and repair hydraulic and electric pipe tension systems, assemble hydraulic and pneumatic valve bodies, and rebuild hydraulic pumps, motors and cylinders
Carry out preventative maintenance programs
General refurbishment/repair of all hydraulic components and complete disassembly/test reports
Inspection of disassembled components to determine suitability for use in line with manufacturers drawings/tolerances
Rebuilt and assist in testing of refurbished units as required
Cleaning and preparation of components prior to rebuild
Be available and flexible in assisting in other workshop activities as workloads dictate
Be responsible for the clean and safe area of work and surroundings
Understand and comply with all Safety and Environmental requirements
Perform all other duties as required by Supervisor within the physical constraints of the job
Qualification
Required
Mechanical, hydraulic, and diesel experience
Repair skills
Knowledge of proper crane rigging procedures
Good driving record
Ability to perform tasks independently
Thorough knowledge of API2C, RP2D, and 9A Specifications
Troubleshooting hydraulic systems
Ability to read and interpret schematics
Rebuilding open and closed loop piston pumps, vane and gear pumps
Good communication and organizational skills
Team skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and Excel
Rebuilding all types of cylinders
Ownership of hand tools
Experience with hydraulic components, including cylinders, pumps, motors, and gearbox repairs
