Responsibilities

Administers operating and capital budgets
Applies proper accounting procedures
Maintains fiscal records
Prepares requisitions and claims
Prepares and processes correspondence
Processes the payroll

Required

Associate's Degree from an accredited institution in Accounting or Bookkeeping
2 years or more of experience in Accounting Operations
Must be over 18 years of age
Candidate must be a U.S. citizen
Possess a current valid SC driver's license or be able to obtain one prior to hire
No felony convictions
Misdemeanors will be evaluated on a case by case basis
Applicants with military experience must have received an honorable discharge
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
Knowledge of financial office procedures and practices, to include data entry and data processing
Knowledge of accounts payable and payroll processes
Knowledge of budget preparation
Ability to handle confidential and administrative information with tact and discretion
Ability to operate a personal computer using standard or customized software applications appropriate to assigned tasks
Ability to perform job duties with little or no supervision
Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communications skills
