The role involves performing vehicle maintenance, completing work orders, and conducting safety inspections.

Responsibilities

Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs on brakes, engine tune-ups, suspensions, drive trains, transmission clutches, etc

Ensure work orders are completed properly & maintain records of all work completed, including parts and supplies used

Complete preventative maintenance (PMs), safety inspections, and annual maintenance inspections

Qualification

Diesel engine repairASE certificationCDL licenseMechanic's tool setAutomotive repair experience

Required

CDL preferred, or able to obtain within 90 days of employment

3+ years of automotive or diesel repair employment experience or combination of education & experience

Process, or willing to obtain Commercial Driver's License within the first year of employment is strongly preferred

ASE certifications preferred; ASE certification program provided

Mechanic's tool set

Subject to DOT drug testing and physical. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, for any reason

Be eligible to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future (if based in the U.S.)
