Mfg Specialty Technician - 1st Shift (Triad Dr - HAFD)
Parker Hannifin’s Hydraulic & Aerospace Filtration Division specializes in manufacturing high-quality filtration products. They are seeking a Manufacturing Specialty Technician to independently set up and operate moderately complex manufacturing equipment while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities
Independently set up and operate moderately complex various manufacturing equipment
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Capable of proficiency on all types of equipment and setup of equipment used in department within 60 days of hire
Proficient in all aspects of inspection gages for the area after training period end and ability to train other employees
Maintain a safe workplace for self and fellow team members via compliance of safety policies and procedures
Produce product in timely manner while following all Quality system requirements
Proficient in all aspects of paperwork for the area within 30 days
Ability to train team members
Ability to lead Lean events and high-performance teams as required; ability to train team on Lean methodology
Participate in 5S activities per Manager request
Troubleshoot problems as they arise; Strong problem-solving skills
Must be able to work overtime when required including weekends
Qualification
Required
Citizenship: US Citizen or Permanent Resident Alien
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Vision: 20/25 vision corrected or uncorrected
Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience in manufacturing environment
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication. For safety and quality, must be able to read, write & understand English
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
Strong Math skills – three-digit addition and subtraction, multiple digit multiplication and division. Converting fractions to decimals. Ability to follow formulas for conversions (ex: SF to LF)
Ability to work in a team environment, cultivate strong relationships, and demonstrate initiative
Ability to lead Lean events and high-performance teams as required; ability to train team members
