The role involves diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing commercial HVAC systems while ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide range of commercial HVAC systems, including boilers, chillers, rooftop units, cooling towers, split systems, and more
Troubleshoot and resolve system malfunctions efficiently and accurately
Conduct routine inspections to ensure optimal system performance, energy efficiency, and compliance with safety and code standards
Document all work performed, including time, materials used, and system conditions, with clear and accurate service reports
Communicate professionally with commercial clients and internal office staff regarding service needs, findings, and recommendations
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area, tools, and service vehicle
Adhere to all company policies and industry-standard safety protocols
Participate in the on-call rotation and respond promptly to after-hours service calls
Attend company-provided training sessions to remain up-to-date on the latest HVAC technologies and practices
Perform other related duties as assigned by management to support team and operational goals

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
Valid journeyman license or 5+ years of verifiable commercial HVAC field experience
Strong technical background with boilers, chillers, cooling towers, rooftop units, and split systems
EPA certification for refrigerant handling
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Excellent mechanical, diagnostic, and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls efficiently
Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
High attention to detail and a strong work ethic with a focus on safety
Physically able to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in varied environmental conditions

Preferred

Technical degree or HVAC certification
Master HVAC license or willingness to obtain
