Lead Measurement Technician - Natural Gas

The Lead Measurement Technician position is responsible for maintaining gas meters and related equipment to meet operational needs in compliance with partnership and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
Maintain and operate facilities in compliance with applicable specifications, codes, safety standards and operating procedures
Perform periodic accuracy tests including the calibration, inspection and maintenance of all equipment related to quality and quantity determination
Install instrumentation and equipment in new and renovated measurement and/or regulation facilities
Inspect and maintain all pressure and volumetric control equipment
Collect gas samples in compliance with partnership safety and industry guidelines
Participate in partnership safety program and initiatives
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED
Detailed knowledge of applicable EPA, DOT, RRC, OSHA, NEC, AGA, API and GPA requirements and procedures
Work independently with minimal supervision
Excellent communication skills to interface with customer base
Level C requires a minimum of 0 - 2 years of relevant experience in a midstream operations role or equivalent work experience
Level B requires a minimum of 2 - 4 years of relevant experience in a midstream operations role or equivalent work experience
Level A requires a minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience in a midstream operations role or equivalent work experience
Preferred
PC skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Access, and Excel
Some college or technical trade school is preferred
