Responsibilities

Performs 12-lead EKG's, UC duties, Accuchecks, application of orthopedic appliances, UDS/BAT, urinary catheterizations as directed by licensed personnel

Assist in admission, transfer, discharge, lifting, turning and ambulation of patients as directed by licensed personnel

Ensure supplies are maintained and areas adequately stocked

Round on patients hourly and prn to offer and provide comfort measures

Assist with efficient turnover of rooms by stripping linen from stretchers, cleaning stretchers, returning clipboards to triage, marking tracking board appropriately, etc
