Responsibilities

Review assembly Bill of Materials for accuracy
Mechanical assembly of aluminum extrusion frames per assembly drawing
Electrical assembly of low voltage control panel per electrical schematics
Mounting / fastening of precision measurement devices used in automated testing equipment
Cable routing and termination
Inspect and Test Complete System Assemblies:
Test for mechanical robustness and reliability
Test for low voltage electrical functionality
Test device specific software for correct parameter settings
Operate Metal Fabrication Equipment:
Chop Saw: Cutting aluminum extrusions to desired lengths
Drill Press: Drill and tap holes
Bridgeport Mill: Counterbore aluminum extrusions / basic mounting bracket fabrication
Perform daily cleanup of production area
Follow standard safety and operating protocols
Participate in continuous improvement activities

Detail oriented with strong follow through on various project duties
Effective time management skills
Ability to lift 50lbs

Preferred

Basic PC skills with familiarity with Microsoft Office
Read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
Forklift certification
High school diploma, technical training with 2+ years' work experience
